In 1963, Lee Shau Kee co-founded Hong Kong’s leading real estate firm Sun Hung Kai, with Kwok Tak-Seng, the father of the two billionaire Kwok brothers.

In 2019, he retired at the age of 91, after appointing his sons as Chairman.

Li Ka-shing (Li Ka-shing) is called a `superman` in Hong Kong because of his business acumen.

In his youth, he worked as a worker and when he saved a small amount of money, Ly Gia Thanh invested in a plastic factory in 1950. In just a few years, he became the largest supplier of plastic flowers in Asia.

By the age of 30, he had earned enough money to retire comfortably, but still decided not to stop there.

Joseph Tsai

Tsai was born into a famous lawyer family in Taiwan (China), then went to the US to study high school.

Tsai first met Jack Ma in 1999 in Hangzhou, through a friend’s introduction.

He is considered Jack Ma’s `right hand man`, helping Alibaba become an international giant.

Wu graduated from university with a degree in engineering, then worked for a factory in China.

In 1993, Wu co-founded real estate company Longfor Properties (China) with her ex-husband Cai Kui, specializing in building apartments.

Wu was once the richest female billionaire in China, but lost this position after a divorce in 2012. She left the position of Chairman of Longfor in October 2022.

Giovanni Ferrero

Giovanni Ferrero is 60 years old and is the youngest son of Michele Ferrero – founder of Ferrero confectionery, famous for Nutella hazelnut chocolate jam, Tic Tac candy, Kinder chocolate and Butterfinger candy.

Giovani studied marketing at Lebanon Valley University (USA).

Jack Ma resigned as Chairman of Alibaba in 2019 and left the Board of Directors (BOD) in 2020, not participating in the company’s daily operations.

After a speech that was said to have upset Chinese officials in 2020, Jack Ma remained silent for many years.

Jan Koum

At the age of 16, Jan Koum and his mother immigrated from Ukraine to America.

Travis Kalanick
