Harry Kane enrolled at Arsenal’s youth football academy at the age of eight.

`I still remember the first time when I, still a boy, played against Arsenal. Maybe I was too aggressive at that time. It sounds absurd, because I was only eight years old, but every

Growing up, then becoming a pillar of Tottenham and a top star in the Premier League, Kane is always very charming every time he clashes with a team from the same city.

`Every time I put my shoes on the field before matches against Arsenal, I always recall what happened when I was 11 years old, when I met Arsenal’s youth team,` Kane confided.

More than a decade has passed since Kane left Arsenal to join Tottenham, but he still has special emotions in North London derbies.

`Every time I picture the Arsenal defenders in red, I get goosebumps when I think about them. When I step out into the tunnel, I often steel myself, determined to prove them wrong.

Kane’s most memorable match against Arsenal was the confrontation in November 2015.

`Scoring two goals against Arsenal was something I could not have imagined before that day’s match, especially the deciding goal in the 86th minute. That was probably the best header I have ever made.

`I still remember clearly, when the match ended, I was continuously applauded by the audience. It was like a fever, and it was even more special because I created it. More importantly, it was a step forward.

Kane was awarded a special shirt for his 100th goal in the Premier League.

The English striker also sent his gratitude to Mauricio Pochettino, who trusted him, gave him the starting role and brought him to new heights since leading Tottenham in the summer of 2014.

`One of the most beautiful memories of my football career is that I was called into the office by Pochettino, right after scoring a hat-trick. At that time, we were quite close but not to the point of being casual. I’m not sure.
