To reach the land at the beginning of the Fatherland, you have to ride a motorbike for a distance of more than 500 km and then climb another 10 km to get there.

Almost everyone who comes here asks to stay overnight at Sin Thau or the border station.

The road to A Pa Chai goes through hills and mountains. If you don’t have a guide, you will get lost.

From Sin Thau to Ta Mieu, the village closest to the foot of the milestone is still a few kilometers. Although not long, it is still difficult because the road is very narrow, running through many precarious mountain passes and steep slopes.

The walking path, which is more than 10 km long, goes on and on and uphill.

Please bring plenty of drinking water when conquering the Western Pole.

When we were tired, the road suddenly changed from fields with sunlight shining overhead into a trail through the forests.

We reached the zero mark when we were exhausted but with joy and pride on every face.

The cool breeze from Laos washes away the fatigue.

The names Muong Te, Cha Cang, Muong Nhe, Sin Thau… which have long been known only on maps, have now been visited by us, witnessing with our own eyes the lives of people in remote mountainous areas.

To climb A Pa Chai, you must report to the border station and get permission from a guide.

The A Pa Chai landmark was confirmed in 2005 and is a very special point because it is located at the Vietnam – Laos – China border junction (the other junction is the Indochina junction in Pleikan district (Ngoc Hoi), Phu Tho town).
