Last season, Arsenal led the Premier League 93% of the time.

After yesterday’s 3-0 win over Brighton, when asked about the difference in mentality compared to the same period last season, Arteta replied: `I think we are at a really good moment. We have a healthy squad.

Coach Arteta and his students applauded and thanked Arsenal fans who followed the team to The Amex Stadium to cheer after the 3-0 win over host Brighton in round 32 of the Premier League on April 6.

Similarly, Bukayo Saka believes that Arsenal learned many lessons from last season to maintain the championship challenge with Man City and Liverpool this season.

At The Amex Stadium on April 6, Arsenal played better, finishing 20 times with seven hits on target – compared to Brighton’s 10 and 2.

Arsenal maintained their unbeaten streak in the Premier League in 2024, winning 10 and drawing one through 11 matches.

According to Arteta, Arsenal had a strong performance in all aspects.

Arsenal only conceded four goals in 2024 and had their fifth consecutive clean sheet in the Premier League – a club record in the tournament.

Arteta praised the defense and especially liked the situation when Gabriel Magalhaes blocked Brighton’s shot in the penalty area in injury time, when Arsenal was leading 3-0, and then celebrated with the whole team.

On April 9, Arsenal returned home to take on Bayern in the quarterfinals, first leg of the Champions League.
