The authorities have localized and temporarily blocked all infection clusters in the community for disinfection treatment and investigation and testing of contacts.

The health sector coordinated with the Southern Airports Authority to inspect activities at the airport to assess the risks of disease transmission and re-test all 1,600 loading and unloading staff a second time.

Ho Chi Minh City minimizes crowded, high-contact food services at the airport, mainly providing take-away fast food.

According to Mr. Dung, after sampling the entire apartment building and assessing the risk, a decision will be made to blockade the entire apartment building or the floor where the suspected case’s family lives.
